Naples Florida Contemporary Fine Art Galleries cater to some of the most affluent collectors in Florida. It’s no wonder that these galleries exhibit some of the finest contemporary art available along with Traditional, Representational and Transitional art. Most of the fine art galleries in Naples keep their offerings in a relatively narrow range, say abstract art, contemporary art and corporate art where the gallery director or owner can give great service to the collector. A lot of great sculpture and figurative work is available.
Naples Galleries are concentrated in two areas; 5th St South and Broad Ave South also called by some ” Gallery Row”. There are numerous other fine art galleries scattered around the city also. Naples contemporary fine art galleries are an easy day trip from Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Orlando, Miami and Ft Lauderdale.
St. Petersburg is a fine art town through and through. It was voted BEST ARTS DESTINATION FOR A MID SIZED CITY THREE YEARS IN A ROW BEGINNING IN 2010 by “American Style” readers. There are numerous fine art galleries on Central Ave of all genres, contemporary, abstract, figurative, cutting edge and crafty. Of course there are fine art galleries in other parts of St. Pete as well plus a number of wonderful museums including The Museum of Fine Arts, The Dali Museum and St. Petersburg Museum of History.
On November 22 and 23, 2014 The CraftArt Festival 2014 will be held on the streets of Central Ave. St. Petersburg, FL. This Fine Craft show will showcase over 120 artists. Excellent craft blurs the line between fine craft and fine art.
Scope offers cutting edge contemporary art work from domestic and international artists in Miami Beach.
Dan Strothers Fine Art has been invited to present a solo exhibition at a major corporation in the Tampa Bay area during the winter of 2015. Details have not been released but will be posted as soon as they made available.
Dan Strothers is a Florida artist from the Bradenton, Sarasota, Florida area who works in both two and three dimensional media. His original art and sculpture have been featured in fine art galleries and museums across Florida and the United States. The artist’s contemporary fine art has been collected from Hawaii to Canada to England and across the United States. Dan Strothers fine art is primarily abstraction but most people see a lot of life in his work. Much can be understood about his art by reading the artist’s bio.
This Dan Strothers Fine Art Creation is a triptych acquired by a collector/resident of the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota, Florida. It is one of two art works from Dan Strothers that hangs in this residence which is full of contemporary original art. This abstraction is entitled “Essence” and is built in highly figured maple, birdseye maple and mappa burl wood which are intensely pigmented with bright colors and earth tones before being glued down on a wooden canvas in a contemporary organic, abstract collage.
While “Essence” is a triptych, the collector wanted the artwork to appear as one, so the Florida artist built a framework to join the individual pieces together. The result was a 84″ x 60″ abstract that hangs in his dining room.
