An Abstract Spring

An abstract spring is what most everyone who gets snowed in for a month or more experiences. It’s that dream that the weather will break and we can leave home for more than a few hours. In this mixed media painting, the viewer can see the grey color of winter. But it is grown over by the bright yellows and blue/greens of new life. This wooden abstraction tells a wonderful story.
